These terms cover the website. Work we actually perform for you is governed by the written estimate and contract you sign, not by this page. Where the two conflict about the work, the signed contract controls.
Nothing here is a quote
This is the most important paragraph on this page.
The cost calculator, the ranges it produces, the guides, and every figure published anywhere on this site are general information, not an offer, not a bid, and not a quote. They do not create a contract, and we are not bound by them.
Specifically:
- The calculator states on its own page whose figures it is using and when they were last reviewed. Read that line — it is kept current with the data, and it is the authoritative statement of what the tool is based on.
- Its output is a range, produced from what you typed in. It has no knowledge of your house, your openings, your frames, or your access. That is true whether the underlying figures are regional averages or our own pricing.
- A real number requires a site visit. Mark measures every opening, identifies which ones take an insert and which need full-frame replacement, and puts the result in writing.
Do not make a financial decision on the strength of a number from this website. Get the measure.
Guides are general information
The guides describe how window replacement generally works in this climate. They are not an inspection of your building and not professional advice about your specific situation. Building conditions vary, permit requirements vary by jurisdiction, and only someone who has looked at your walls can tell you what they need.
Submitting the estimate form
Submitting the form asks us to contact you. It does not hire us, reserve a date, or commit either of us to anything. We may decline work for any lawful reason — including that a job is outside the area we can reliably serve, which we would rather tell you honestly than drive to badly.
Please give us information that is accurate and yours to give. Do not submit someone else’s contact details, and do not use the form to send us anything unlawful, abusive, or automated.

Contractor registration
Clear View Windows & Trim LLC is a Washington contractor. Ask for the registration number on your first call and verify it yourself using the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries contractor lookup. You should do that with every contractor you let near your walls, including us.
Washington law limits what a registered contractor may claim in advertising, and this site is written to stay inside those limits. If you see a claim here that you think crosses a line, tell us and we will fix it.

Where we link to a manufacturer, a utility rebate programme, or a government lookup, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Clark County, Washington, and we each consent to that venue.
There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver here. If you have a problem with us, we would rather you call.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and the version published here is the one that applies.
